We are owned and managed by Mike Harbourne, who has been happily ‘Living the Dream’ in the beautiful and unspoilt Poquiera Valley in The Alpujarra mountains in Granada province, Andalucia, Spain for the last four years.

Although we have properties for sale and to rent throughout the whole of the Alpujarra mountain range, we specialise in properties in the higher mountain villages of the western alpujarras between Orgiva and Berchules. Our greatest concentration of properties for sale or for rent however, are situated in the beautiful villages of the Poquiera valley, including the villages of: Capileira, Bubion, Pampaneira, Cańar, Bayacas, Carataunas and Soportuja; and the tranquil and pretty villages of the La Taha district, which include: Pitres, Capilerilla, Portugos, Ferrierola, Fondales, Mecina, Mecinilla, Atalbeitar, Portugos, Busquistar and Trevelez.

NOTE: New laws in Andalusia have changed the way we can market your property and have created a new requirements for vendors to provide information and documenation concerning the properties they are selling. This new law is called Decree218 (akin to HIPS in the United Kingdom) and is designed to offer transparency and consumer protection.

There is a heavy emphasis on protecting the buyer, however, it should be noted that the aim is also to protect the vendor. Failure to provide the information required will mean that we cannot list your property. The repercussions of not adhering to this law can leave both the agent and the vendor with huge fines totalling as much as the value of the property.

Dreamtime Properties Ltd is currently going through a process to bring all our properties in line with the new law and developing easy to use forms for our vendors to complete. These forms will be available to download once we are completely clear on the exact format.
